San Antonio Philharmonic Orchestra present a special holiday performance of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker, reimagined in a tribute to the diverse history and culture of the state of Texas and the city of San Antonio! In Folklorico Nutcracker Tchaikovsky's timeless tale features American cowboys and Mexican rancheros bringing this holiday tradition into our uniquely Texan setting!

The story of The Nutcracker was originally written by E.T.A. Hoffmann, with Tchaikovsky's masterpiece score accompanying the world-famous ballet receiving its debut over 130 years ago, in 1892. Around the world it's gone on to become one of the most beloved holiday traditions and is a must see whenever it's in town!
