Tears For Fears Rock the ARENA!!!

5 star rating - it's for TFF. Curt & Roland always deliver. The music was spot on. The set list was great. The sound was perfect and the lighting fit the songs & the mood. It did seem that Curt was singing an octave higher than usual on some songs but I could be wrong. it didn't take away anything from them though. I must say it hurt to hear Roland thanking H & O for 'letting them on the tour'!!! Also, it was awful to be in an audience where so many people didn't care about the band/music. I was the only person up & dancing in my section for at least 10 rows & was asked multiple times to sit down. : ( Hall & Oats rate maybe 3 stars. Their sound people SUCK! I lost count of how many times there was feedback. Lots of tacky effects & the lights kept hitting me right in the eyes. Every song was extended by a long, unnecessary guitar solo (not even by Hall or Oats!) & way too much reverb used. To be honest after butchering 'Sara Smile' - I left. BUT, their Sax Player was fabulous!! ... Read more
