My son and I moved from a small town where different was ridiculed, condemned. In order for my son to thrive and me to heal and grow, we NEEDED Rina Sawayama in our lives right when she came to us. We moved to Washington to flee persecution in our home state. When we got to be in the presence of Rina and her might, talent, poise, vocals and passion, my son and I melted. Many times I cried, out of being grateful, to share this fabulous performance with my child.
