Attended the Saturday Matinee with family and loved it! The Tobin Center was a nice, clean, welcoming venue. View was great. From the opening notes the orchestra was fantastic - very tight, accomplished musicians with a fine conductor. The ballet performance was interesting and flowed nicely. The artists were fine, graceful dancers and kept our attention throughout. It was nice to see a performance of the Nutcracker that included the traditional Russian dancers in the Troika instead of clowns or jesters as I have seen in other performances. The staff at the Tobin Center were very warm and accommodating and helped make this a meaningful afternoon for us. Well done, Ballet San Antonio and musicians! Thanks for a great performance.
